The first Humanities Graduate Student Association Council Meeting of the semester will be held on January 23rd at 6 pm in Fondren 506. Among other things, we will be discussing the upcoming HGSA conference, future brown bag events, and fostering wider organizational involvement with our fellow graduate students in the School of Humanities. The Council is composed of HGSA officers and the department representatives to the HGSA. This meeting is open to all humanities graduate students, however, and we hope you all will come help out and see what is going on in the organization. If there is anything in particular you would like to discuss, please email us at hgsa@rice.edu to request an item be added to the agenda.
