The Humanities Graduate Student Association (HGSA) invites new and current Rice humanities graduate students to attend our first Brown Bag Seminar of the semester. This event is especially intended for our new students who started at Rice this fall, but all humanities grads are more than welcome! We are thrilled to have Dr. W. Caleb McDaniel (Ph.D. Johns Hopkins, 2006), Rice University Assistant Professor of History, leading the seminar. Anthony Koth, Rice PhD student in Linguistics and HGSA Internal Vice President, will join Professor McDaniel to offer the graduate student perspective.

Find out about HGSA events and activities here: hgsa.blogs.rice.edu and here: https://www.facebook.com/ricehgsa
We look forward to seeing you at HUMA 118 on Friday, September 20 at noon!

Many thanks,
The Humanities Graduate Student Association (HGSA)
